Gloria Carter Spann was a celebrity sibling and a celebrity on her own who happens to be one of the younger sisters of former president Jimmy Carter. She was a motorcyclist and activist who was noted as one of the first women inducted into Harley-Davidson’s 100,000 Mile Club, was named Most Outstanding Female Motorcyclist in 1978 and worked as an activist for motorcycle rights. She was born to her parents on October 22, 1926, but passed away on March 5, 1990, from pancreatic cancer.
