Courtney Love married the Leaving Trains vocalist James Moreland in Las Vegas on July 23, 1989. However, their marriage did not last long as it was annulled in the same year.

Later, Love said that their marriage was a joke and Moreland was a transvestite.

On February 24, 1992, Love married Kurt Cobain on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. While she wore a satin and lace dress once owned by the actress Frances Farmer, Cobain opted for plaid pajamas.

They remained married till Cobain’s death in 1994.
